1/2/2013 · Sundown X -18 Prototype First Look – YouTube First video of the X -18 up. I’ve noticed some confusion about these testing videos all of the drivers we test exhibit a similar sound at very high travel — bit of a whopping sound is the best way to describe it.
The Sundown X -8, along with all other 8s in our line, is a unique driver within its line-up. Contrary to the design of the other X subwoofers the X -8 is more of an SPL oriented subwoofer. The X -8 suspension design (spider & surround) were designed around creating larger peaks for SPL purposes.
